The 3 pin diagnostic socket is used in the older, pre Year 2001 Maserati 3200Gt models. To connect VAG-com KKl cables to this model, you need this adapter cable and a suitable diagnostic program such as UniDiag KWP2000. Generic OBD2 software and OBD2 tools will not work on these models.
